Wang Zhanjie, chairman of China Plastics Processing Industry Association, delivered a keynote speech. Chairman Wang stressed that the current world is undergoing unprecedented changes, and scientific and technological innovation has become the core field of international competition. China's plastic processing industry is facing unprecedented opportunities and challenges in science and technology, economy, society and other fields. He especially mentioned that in recent years, As the team of experts in China's plastic processing industry has been kept growing, and the professional structure has been further improved, providing solid support for the stable development of the industry. To this end, he put forward three suggestions: First, deeply understand the urgency and necessity of scientific and technological innovation in the plastic industry; The second is to gather all forces to comprehensively improve the level of scientific and technological innovation in the plastic processing industry; The third is to give full play to the important role of the expert committee in the industry's scientific and technological innovation.

At the celebration session, the association commended the units and individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the plastics industry.
