Description:

Hydrotalcite is layered double hydroxides (LDH), with a series of unique and excellent properties and functions as a result of special chemical composition and crystal structure; it can develop different purposed products by changing the techniques and conditions.

Applications:

It can be widely used for PVC heat stabilizers;
As acid acceptor, it can play the synergetic effect with the anti-oxidant and light stabilizer system; Ultraviolet absorbents of agricultural films, the composition and structure of the hydrotalcite enable the agricultural films to selectively absorb the ultraviolet; widely used in such materials as fire retardants, catalyzers, medical and sterilization etc.

Properties:

Good heat stability: Its unique mechanism of acid absorption brings better heat stability than lead-based products.
High clarity: It provides the same refractive index as PVC.
Excellent insulation: absorbed chloride won’t release out through the anion exchange reaction, excellent insulativity.
Good safety: It can be used in food packaging of the polymer material after relative testing.
Good weatherability: It can be used with various heat stabilizers, no the sulfurous pollutants
